S Video cables
S-video is an analog cable that is commonly found as an alternative input on hd televisions. It carries both sound and video signals so you only need the one cable. It was replaced by component and nowadays HDMI, but is still relatively popular and you will find s-video ports on most devices, like dvd players, recorders, video cameras, consoles and on PC graphics cards.
They are generally not suitable for carrying an HD signal to the television however, due to a lack of bandwidth, but they will still be suitable for connecting older devices, or those waiting for an upgrade to an HDTV.
